Johnny Depp - Juvenile to Gentleman
by Judith Cox

Your reticent soul hidden from view
A destructive and deserted vision
Of beauty, anguish and talent
In a city of jealousy, lust and distrust.

Two broken hearts and lonely nights
Elusive dreams become abusive,
Temptation clinging to your waist
Recognition now coming ever closer.

When marijuana and cocaine
Were replaced with pure ecstasy,
Your cocoon became blessed with light
Warmth and innocence her gift to you.

Foreign land became welcome home,
A boy develops into man and lover,
False hopes, gossip and prima donna's
No longer play the dominant role in life

You taunt with snippets of wisdom
And tease with your sexuality,
With grace and masculinity
You hold the audience's breathless.

Strength and fatherhood now your friend
Your neck is no longer strained,
Youth has become your new guide
With pure and young new eyes, In a brand new world.

This man vaguely known to me has released all this poetry,
And I really don’t understand how.
Encouraged by fans and friends alike
That I have only found recently, on this site,
My pondering, wondering mind is now flooded with rhyme.

I found a place where I can be, where I belong, where I fit in,
I don’t understand why, these misfits, seem to be just like me.
Not sure of who I am anymore, but I know I’m not who I was.
Why has this man so rudely interrupted the life that I thought was mine?

No longer can I enjoy being, what I now know I ‘m not,
I’m left somewhere in-between the person that I was,
And the place that I’m now going.
A new map to follow would make the journey less daunting,
And a clearly marked sign at least, but I’m travelling by candlelight only,
A solitary traveller, without a guide.

As I surf on a wave of his new found fame,
I have found myself tossed into the sea,
I let out a small plea for a helping hand, a friend,
Someone who understands this world,
And knows the direction of the shore.

Poem by Deppbluesea

I know I'll never meet you
You live so far awayI know I'll never meet youI know I'll never meet you
You live so far away
I know you'll never love me
Nomatter what I say
I dont know what youre really like
Though I believe your kind
I know youre heart belongs to someone
Though It matches mine
Whenever I look into your eyes I love you more than ever
Whenever I hear your melodius voice I feel light as a feather
I know that I will always love you nomatter what I do
My heart will beat a little faster
Whenever I see you
I know that this is silly, and could take a while
but number 1, first on the list
I'd love to make you smile!

From a Distance
by Gudrun

From a distance, I watch you,
loving and caring for those around you
who make a difference.
From a distance I love you.
When I see you my heart stops,
I loose my voice, I cant breathe.
You have such a strong effect on me
like a new day dawning or the moon bursting into a dark night.
I would travel mountains, the endless forests and conquer an ocean to watch you....from a distance.
Say why you dont love me, why you dont care.
I will keep on watching....from a distance
Like a wondering knight seeking his beloved one.
Then suddenly I feel your touch....
on
me.
